#im worried that last reblog was too mean.#some of you are adjacent to the deer skull world and i don't think you should have to worry about it#the versions of it i really hate are 1. as stated ppl acting like this shit isn't incredibly christian in origin and delivery#2. when people start doing inexplicably lovecraft-inspired mysticism in like direct opposition to ever learning anything factual about tree#3. anecdotes about poor rural life told to sound as scandalously ~~eldritch~~ as possible instead of like. regular life.#none of you are doing that. we're cool#also i love just being a hater unfortunately but i do want to delineate the boundaries of deeply held vs opportunistic hating.
